The Bat Advocacy and Tracking Society (BATS) at Cal Poly Pomona is a student-led organization dedicated to the study, conservation, and advocacy of bats. Through research projects using acoustic monitoring and insect tracking, members contribute to ecological science and gain hands-on field experience. BATS also engages in community outreach to educate the public about bats’ critical roles in ecosystems and dispel common myths. By fostering collaboration between students, scientists, and the public, the club promotes awareness of nocturnal wildlife, supports biodiversity, and offers opportunities for leadership, scientific communication, and involvement in conservation-focused research and activities.

Our club seeks to be a network of support for current and incoming graduate students at the university. It also serves as an informal link between the school and the Graduate Students. The BIO GSA will regularly organize recreational activities, seminars, workshops, etc., focused on facilitating new contacts and networking. It will help inspire and educate graduate students through tours, guest speakers, socials, and community outreach.​

Global Medical Brigades allows all majors, pre-professional backgrounds, and adventurers to expand their opportunities within traveling experiences and volunteerism. Throughout the school year, we prepare to host low-cost medical clinics in indigenous and rural areas in foreign countries to create medical care access for those in need. Our volunteers have the opportunity to travel to Belize, Greece, Ghana, Guatemala, Honduras, and Panama - allowing them to participate in cultural activities and medical insight during our brigade.

     Pre-Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy is a student-run club that aims to serve all students interested in becoming physical or occupational therapists by bringing guest speakers, organizing campus tours, and bringing together students of similar interests. Guest speakers can include current DPT or OPT students, licensed therapists, business owners, admissions officers, and more. We have done campus tours at WesternU, APU, and are looking to do tours at USC, Chapman, and Loma Linda this upcoming school year.
